TOLERANCE NO 2

Hi Bloggers,

Here is another slide for you on Tolerance. This time I have kept the background the same for my story and used 'speech bubbles' to explain what is happening...

Keeping the background the same is a lot quicker than importing lots of images. You will also see that I have used the cube function for my presentation.

TOLERANCE

Here's another blog for you to look at Gilberthorpe Bloggers. 

Showing Tolerance is another one of our school values. This time I have made up a person to talk to you about ways we can show Tolerance.

 You will notice I have this presentation moving from left to right. This is done by going to the slide icon and clicking on 'Transition' which appears on the right hand side of your screen. You will see there are several options - as well as clicking from left to right you can also cube or flip your slides....

The character I have used is in each slide to create a story. Another way you can do this is to keep the background the same and move the characters around. Happy blogging everyone.

This week's new Blog is about our Value - Empathy. Below is another 'Google Slide' to give you an example of how you could present your work.... 

Empathy - The Ability to FEEL for Others....

You will see I have included 'Speech Bubbles' in this slide. These are created by clicking on the 'shape' icon and choosing the 'call out' option. There are several 'bubbles' to choose from. They are a lot of fun to create.

CARING FOR OTHERS

The value for this week is Caring for Others. This time I have created a 'Google Slide' to give you an example of another way of presenting your work. 

Here are four ways you can show CARING FOR OTHERS:

By using 'Google Slides' you can emphasise your main points. You can also move your images and words around on your page a lot easier. To get your 'Google Slide' into 'Blogger' will take several steps, including copying and pasting it to HTML after you have published it to the web. I am looking forward to seeing some great slides....

FRIENDLINESS

Hi Gilberthorpe Bloggers.

Over the next few weeks we are going to be blogging about our school values. Here is one I quickly did for Friendliness. It gives you an example of how to put an image on your blog...

FRIENDLINESS

You can be friendly by:

. Letting someone join in when they ask to play     with you.

. Remembering to say please and thank you

.Giving people compliments when they do something well.

. Offering to help others when they need it.

. Being kind when someone is feeling sad.

To get this image I had to take a copy from the internet. It is often difficult to get your image in the place you want it on 'Blogger'. Next time we will look at how to write in 'Google Slides' and then place your slide(s) onto your 'Blogger' page. If you are not sure how to get an image please ask me in class.
